The South Lancashire Breast Screening Unit are currently inviting eligible ladies aged between 50 – 70yrs registered with the following surgeries to attend for breast screening. Please note that screening is by invitation only.

Why attend for your breast screening?
- 1 in 7 Women will develop breast cancer
- Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK
- Current evidence suggests that breast screening reduces the number of breast cancer deaths in the UK by about 1,300 a year
