GP HUBS (Wigan GP Alliance)
You can book an appointment to see a GP between 6.30 pm – 8.00 pm weekdays and between 10.00 am – 4.00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays
The GP Extended HUBS now offer appointments with Nurses for a variety of services and reviews between 18.30 – 20.00 weekdays and 10.00 – 16.00 Saturdays. The appointments are for:
Cervical smears
Contraceptive Pill checks (not the depo provera injection)
Long Term Condition Reviews (COPD, asthma, diabetes, peripheral artery disease, ischaemic heart disease,stroke, atrial fibrillation and heart failure) Please note annual bloods need to be done a few days before the review for IHD and Diabetes.
